TB ButterflyEffex was created to honor the story of a Haitian American woman who wanted to bring not only beauty, but diversity to the cosmetic industry. As a young girl, when I thought about being beautiful I automatically associated that image with super models, just like a long silk haired Barbie that I often played with. Barbie was beautiful to me as she was generally deemed a flawless beauty.
Fast forward to the 21st century, this once girl no longer sees beauty as I depicted it during my childhood. I recognize and appreciate different skin tones, hair textures, eye colors, as well as lip shapes. Yes, now that's BEAUTY! "All things beauty." B. EFFEX was created for all of us. Consider us as your "One Stop Shop", where we meet you right where you are. B. EFFEX has you covered.

Many have asked why I decided to name my business “TB ButterflyEffex” and why did I choose the color Purple to represent the brand when pink is my favorite color. Here’s why...
The letters TB are my initials.
